Great fantastic, fan-dabby-dozey. Seemed to go really well, lots of positive feedback from the students, one said it was the best thing she’d ever been on
I was on a total high last night, before falling asleep on the sofa at 8pm, and not waking up till 3 this morning. So I guess it was also exhausting. My timings were a bit out – I’d been over-optimisitc about what we’d get through, but I guess that was better than running out of material by lunchtime on the second day, so I’m going to have to re-jig the second module a bit, to ensure I fit it all in. And today I have to start work straight away on my next one. I think it will be tough till Xmas, and by then I’ll have run everything once, so all my training materials will be written, and after that it should get easier.
Bob and H disappeared for the weekend, and seemed to have a good time climbing and then visiting the baby rhino at the Safari Park, before it closes for the winter. It’s a holiday Monday here today, and we all forgot that would mean Bob would be off, as we are so unused to him getting the public holidays, so he is taking H off for today again, to let me work.
Very happy

Tomorrow my first Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis begins. I’m feeling fairly confident, and very excited. I was really pleased last week to have confirmation that my course had been accredited by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council. It’s been a massive amount of work to prepare the submission, so I was delighted to get accreditation on the first application, as I had been led to believe that it often took several re-submissions.
The last few weeks have definitely been autonomous as I seem to have spent the entire time writing course manuals. H has done masses of sport – she now goes to athletics twice a week, football, and netball. She’s done a lot of reading round WW2, and is keen to go back to Eden Camp now she’s got more context for it – must fit that in, along with Dr Who, in October.
Bob is taking her hill walking over the weekend, I think they are still hoping to camp, though it has turned very cold here, and it’s rained non-stop for about a week, so they may disappear with the caravan instead. They were going to do Ben Nevis, but think they have settled on the Lakes, as even for us in Scotland, they are nearer.
So tonight we are all going to have an early night, and get ready for an exciting weekend
Must try harder 3 September 2007

When I blog every day, I’d happy to warble on about SFA, but when I miss a week, I’m then embarrassed to blog, as it sounds as if I should have more to say for a weeks absence.
Anyway, DD much better, still on anti-bs, still peaky, still got massive tonsil, but no longer ill. She’s been pretty laid back, loads of crafty stuff, lots of horrible history reading, guinea pig cuddling and demanding “bedroom inspections” Don’t know what that is about, I think it’s a hangover from camp, and at least it means her room seems amazingly tidy. Did the ironing this week again, as well
Has come home from Guides tonight with the details of International Camp. £150 just for camp, travel extra!!! She is so desperate to go, not sure though that in makes two weeks at MoTB plus HESFES feasible. And I def want to do HESFES this year again.
I’ve been burning the midnight oil writing like a demon all week, absolutely knackered. Merry – horrified at the laser printer enviromental impact – is the inkjet any better though? Now feeling bad at the amount of printer ink I’m using – a cartridge a week atm. Must try refills.
And as always on the 3 September, thinking about my sister, and wondering what she would have been like now.
